Patrick Treacy, Dr.

Physician

"[I am] honored to be given a place in Michael Jackson's heart. Michael’s legacy as an artist often overshadows the tremendous good he did in the world and how he unselfishly supported many causes both in HIV and Africa, often at financial cost to himself. Like Jesus before him, he saw the goodness in children and realized that our moral values have to be nurtured in the generation of people who are coming up behind us. He treated everybody equally both in race, color and creed. It was especially annoying for me as a doctor to be treating him for a medical condition, which the media used against him. They might as well have said that Franklin Delano Roosevelt was lazy because he spent most of his adult life in a wheelchair."
